KE Bill Help

Find the issue you are seeing, try the relevant check, and use official KE support when account access or a billing correction is needed.

My Account Number Is Not Accepted

Check all 13 digits against a previous bill. Remove accidental spaces if the form requires digits only, and distinguish the account number from the meter number or other references. Do not remove a leading zero unless the official form tells you to.

Our account-number guide shows the field to look for. If your connection is new or the account details changed, ask KE which identifier to use. Trying random numbers can expose someone else’s information and will not resolve your account problem.

This website does not look up an account from a name, address, phone number or CNIC. Share private identifiers only through the official service when it requests them.

Review a Category or Fixed-Charge Mismatch

Residential Checks

Compare the bill’s category, consumption history where relevant, sanctioned load and TOU registers. Do not select protected or lifeline status just to lower an estimate.

Household Billing Checklist

Commercial Checks

Compare the A-2 load band, fixed-charge basis and billed demand. Separate a demand question from tax registration, a meter-reading issue or unpaid balances.

Commercial Billing Checklist

Keep the current bill, a previous comparable bill and the evidence for the disputed component. Ask KE to explain that item and retain the reference number.

My Bill Is Not Available

Confirm that you are asking for the intended account and billing period. A new billing cycle may not yet have produced a document. If the official form shows a message, record its wording without publicly sharing your account details.

Start a fresh session from the official bill-access link. If it is still unavailable, check another official KE channel, such as KE Live, or contact KE. This site cannot generate a bill that has not been issued or retrieve a document from a private account.

For previous months, use the history available in your official account. Do not assume that changing a month in a link will return an authorized historical bill.

Verification or the Page Keeps Failing

Refresh the official form if the verification has expired. Complete the new challenge displayed by KE. Do not reuse an old verification value. Browser sessions and verification fields may be tied together, so copying only part of a form link can fail.

Try opening the page in a current standalone browser if you are inside a messaging app. Check your connection and temporarily retry without a browser extension that is visibly blocking the form. Avoid downloading unknown “bill checker” software.

If the official site is unavailable, try later or use another official support channel. We cannot bypass KE verification or guarantee availability of its systems.

The Bill Will Not Download or Print

Check for a new tab or a blocked PDF window. Once the actual bill is open, use the viewer’s download button or your browser’s Save as PDF option. Confirm the file is complete before closing the original page.

If printing cuts off the amount or barcode, inspect the print preview and try A4 with fit-to-page scaling. Use our phone and computer download instructions for the full steps. A screenshot of the checker form is not a duplicate bill.

The Amount Is Higher Than Expected

Start with billed units and reading dates. Then check the tariff category, current energy charges, adjustments, arrears and credits. A change in the total does not necessarily mean the unit rate changed.

Compare the bill reading with a dated meter photograph, allowing for electricity used since the bill’s reading date. Review what each bill component means. The calculator is a planning aid with stated exclusions, not evidence that an issued bill must match its estimate.

For a suspected reading or billing error, raise the issue with KE using the bill and supporting records. Only the utility can investigate and correct its account records.

Prepare a Useful Support Request

Keep your account number, billing month, a clear description of the issue and any relevant receipt or meter photograph ready. Tell KE what you expected, what appeared instead, and when the problem occurred. Share records through their official channel rather than public comments.

Ask for a complaint or service reference and retain it for follow-up. Use 118, (021) 99000 or the official KE channels listed on our contact page. For electrical hazards, contact the utility promptly and keep a safe distance. Do not attempt repairs yourself.
